I am a proud first-generation Canadian that was lucky to escape the war experience that affected those in the Former Yugoslavia.
I grew up in Ottawa, in the multi-culturally rich community of Heron Gate. That experience introduced me to the cultures of the world.
Growing up Canadian and in Canada has been my biggest privilege. Now I am on the journey to make the most out of the opportunities that have been made available to me.
I believe that people across all lines of difference deserve to be treated with dignity and to have a chance to reach their full potential. That is why I am passionate about creating sustainable change across communities by leveraging tech for community building and development purposes.
I had the opportunity to meet Masai Ujiri at his film premier "Giants of Africa." His advice was to "dream big."
The takeaway from that experience was that talent is everywhere and that opportunities are limited. Giants are everywhere. They all start small. Sometimes they need a little help to start growing.

My extracurricular contributions include leveraging tech to make public resources more available to communities and international development projects in South America, the Caribbean, and the Balkans. I have taken on a mentorship role for students at the post-secondary level focused on unlocking potential among the thinkers of tomorrow.
I have leveraged tech as a solution for health inequalities and to help youth transition into adulthood. I have contributed towards operational enhancements and system processes.
I have collaborated with elected officials, Embassies and Ambassadors, National Police Forces, professional sports teams, and other major organizations.
I have earned access to exclusive communities throughout my international development projects. I operate with the world as it is and not how I want it to be.
